I discovered this perfume house via a 2023 article in Dirt (part of my Newsletter Stack collection, obvs). Zernell Gillie set out to translate the emotional and cultural language of music into fragrance — treating scent as something that can move, build, and shift like a track.
Disco captures that idea, opening bright before settling into something warmer, spiced, and softly smoky. I was intrigued enough to order a 2ml sample — and let's just say it could hold its own at Studio 54. 🪩
